“When I was younger I absolutely loved Star Wars. Being a curious kid however, I started to notice something was wrong: explosions shouldn’t make any noise in space and travelling faster than the speed of light was impossible. Then it hit me… it wasn’t real! Luckily, someone told me about people called ‘scientists’ who wrote real science fiction. This was the stuff I was actually interested in. The only difference was that their stories weren’t written in English but in the language of mathematics. Since that discovery I have been on the most exciting adventures in the universe, all with the power of maths!”
