Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Nhulunbuy and Katherine libraries will host displays of local student work, and offer activities linked to the themes and national activities.
Seven DEET clusters, Catholic schools and Independent schools may apply for grants of up to $2,000 to develop and/or participate in events and activities during National Literacy and Numeracy Week.
Joint Council of Professional Associations will make available to regions literacy and numeracy professional learning opportunities, including nationally recognised speakers.
